I realize, it's been a while since I've done High, Low, Huh's, but I really felt the need to bring it back today solely because last week held some real gems for me. So for last week:
High's: Running just about every day. Sunny days in the 70's. Having a job that's roughly 9-3 (for now at least). Finding out who the mysterious "Dr. Platelet" is from Hopkins bloodbank (I realize that this may not thrill anyone except for my PICU gals) Finishing our garden in our backyard. Our cute little Italian neighbor who planted flowers outside our house.
Low's: The damn ice cream truck that goes down our street about 10 times in the evening (cute at times, but not at 10 PM). Some "thing" is eating our tomato plants, what that thing is we don't know.
Huh's: The guy who was walking his cat in the park and encouraging it to climb a tree- I hope he watched saturday morning cartoons when he was little and knew that firemen were often called in times like those!
The little toddler who was so happy to see Sadie that she ran after her, gave her a hug from behind and kissed her on her butt.

Vacation over, back to real life
So Saturday R. and I got back from a 2 week vacation to San Diego and Tucson. It was super fun... and super packed! We ended up staying with Sean (R.'s brother) and 3 roommate's in their ultimate bachelor pad for most of the time. Talk about decorating....the whole living room lacks any sort of furniture (minus a recliner), yet is fully stocked with about 10 surf boards. We had a great time and feel so blessed to have spent so much time with Sean, the guys and our friends out in Cali. Here are a few pictures of our trip.
Easter Sunday with Vanessa (Sean's girlfriend) and her mother
Hiking in Malibu with Jan on the Mugu trail. We saw a rattlesnake!
Can't drive to Tucson without stopping off to get a "Date Shake"!
Sean doing yoga at the Grand Canyon
Siddharth and Swati making sandwiches in the minivan on our way to the Grand Canyon. (Munjal family road trip: think India does Little Miss Sunshine)
Backpacking on Mt. Lemon
Enjoying the Coronado sun

Another perfect O.B. sunset
